Why not paid up front?
You have to feel your agent, native, on your phone before you will believe in it. A price wall before that moment kills the thing that actually sells this. That is also why there is no waitlist. Pre-launch access goes straight to a TestFlight invite.
Why not a one-time purchase?
Pro includes a recurring hosted-voice allowance and continued development of unlimited connections and dashboard actions. Notifications are included with Free in the next release.
What if I do not want to pay at all?
The relay is open source under AGPL-3.0 and self-hostable in a single Docker container. See the relay self-hosting docs for its custom transport capabilities. The current iOS app connects directly to your HTTP/MCP server and uses the hosted relay for push. It does not consume the reference relay's tunnel or offline envelope queue, and there is no self-hosted push-forwarding gateway today.
